The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Chamber of Engineers for the 2020/2021 term will be held on Friday 26th February 2020 at 5.45p.m. Due to these extraordinary COVID-19 circumstances, this AGM will be held virtually via ZOOM. In the case of an election for council, the secret voting procedure is exceptionally proposed to be carried out through electronic means. Per usual procedure, voting rights will be allotted only to meeting participants who have regularized membership. CoE Members intending to participate in the AGM are required to register in advance through the online registration form found below.
The number of vacancies for the upcoming council term is that of nine. For members who are interested in contributing through a council role, a nomination form has been sent via post which must be duly completed and sent together with a 200 word profile and a passport size photo to the Chamber’s Secretariat by end of day of Friday 22nd January 2021 in accordance with the statute clause 11.5.
Kindly note that only those members who have paid their 2020 and 2021 membership subscription shall be entitled to vote as stipulated in Clause 11.7 of the statute. Membership fees will be accepted up until the 25th February 2021.

- Appointment of legal counsel
- Other matters
- Election of Council Members (Opening of Voting Session)
Motion/s should be forwarded to the Chamber’s Secretariat by end of day of Thursday 18th February 2021 for such proposals to be discussed during the meeting.
