|Annual General Meeting 2016|
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) is again around the corner. The importance of this annual meeting cannot be overstated. It gives an opportunity for members to review the operation of the Chamber of Engineers and to elect new members on the executive council.
The period for nominations for representation on Council has closed and the Chamber of Engineers received five nominations in total. The number of vacant positions on the Council will be six. For this reason, the current nominees were uncontested and will hence get automatically elected.

The formal election of each nominee shall take place on the date of the AGM (26th February 2016 at the Professional Centre, Sliema Road, Gzira at 5:45pm). The biographies that were received from the nominees have been sent on to members.
Kindly note that only those members who have paid their 2015 and 2016 membership subscription shall be entitled to vote as stipulated in Clause 11.7 of the Statute. Membership fees will be accepted before the meeting commences.
